In addition to Social Work, there are other ways we can support one another. Gabriël and Dora regularly assist people who are new to the Netherlands. They do this partly in a professional capacity and partly through the T-Huis. Every visitor with similar experiences is a valuable addition and can offer fresh insights.
That is why we organize different types of T-Cafés every week. These cafés are not traditional venues like pubs or bars, but rather places to come together. There is tea, coffee, soft drinks, and often something to eat.
If you are new, you cannot just drop in at a T-Café. There are three ways to participate:
- You are in contact with Social Work; they can refer you to a café
- You use the Walk-in Service; Beau will then register you for a café
- You sign up via the contact form or by email () with the core team. Alejandra, Dora, or Eeée will schedule a video call with you, after which you will be registered through them
