T-House Rules & Code of Conduct

The T-Huis (Transhuis) is part of HVO-Querido, and therefore their general terms and conditions apply.

Welcome to the T-Huis / Transhuis

The T-Huis was founded by black, bicultural, and migrant trans people—our sisters who created space where none existed. This is a place built from their strength, vision, and care. While all trans and non-binary people are welcome, we especially center those who are often pushed to the margins—even within the trans community.

That includes Black and People Of Color, bicultural (Dutch-born) trans folks, T sex workers, homeless trans people, and those who face violence or rejection from family because they are transgender. If you have struggled to find safety, understanding, or community—this space is for you.

Dutch white trans people are welcome too, but we ask for awareness: many other organizations and systems already serve you more easily. Here, we ask everyone to show up with humility, respect, and a willingness to share space.

Below you will find our House Rules & Code of Conduct

They are here to help everyone feel welcome, heard, and protected.
By entering the T-Huis, you agree to follow them.

Location Privacy

To protect the safety of everyone who visits the T-Huis, we ask that you never share our location with third parties or online.
This includes posting on social media, messaging apps, or public forums.

We intentionally do not publish our address on our website to help keep this space safe. Everyone who enters shares responsibility for maintaining that safety. By keeping the location private, you help protect those who may be at risk or vulnerable.

Thank you for respecting this boundary—it’s one of the ways we care for each other.
